Darren Masters is a freelance senior copywriter, creative director and content creator with more than 25 years’ experience across multinational and independent agencies, as well as in-house creative teams.

A passionate and versatile marketing professional, Darren’s work has been recognised at local, national and international award shows for both creativity and effectiveness.

Adept at writing for all channels — from one-to-one direct, EDMs and social, to integrated brand campaigns, TVCs and content — he combines strategic thinking with creative craft to deliver ideas that solve real business problems.

He’s also skilled in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. In past lives, Darren has run his own fashion label and photography business, and has written and directed award-winning short films.

Currently based in Italy for a year, Darren continues to work remotely with clients while drawing creative inspiration from the culture, design and rhythm of everyday Italian life.
